Have you thought about where you would like to work once you have finished your HR or Marketing degree? And, how you will go about getting there?

Surely a quick search for marketing or HR roles on Trade Me Jobs or Seek will provide a good selection of graduate-level roles, available in Wellington, for you to apply for right?

It may not be quite so straightforward…

You see, most Wellington organisations tend to have relatively small HR and marketing teams, which makes it harder for graduates to find roles. There also tends to be a technical skills gap in what graduates have, and what the industry wants.

So, you need to find ways in which you can set yourself apart from the rest, gain those skills that the industry wants, and network and create connections with local industry professionals.

This is where Summer of Biz comes in – we will hold technical skills bootcamps throughout this year, and opportunities for you to gain paid internships, in Wellington at the end of this year.
